Crystal Palace's Elise Hughes has left the club after helping them return to the Women's Super League. The 25-year-old forward announced her departure on social media as she helped Wales prepare for Tuesday night's crucial World Cup qualifier against the Czech Republic in Cardiff. After four years, two promotions, one league trophy, and some of the best moments of her career, it's time to say goodbye, Hughes wrote. The highest highs and the lowest lows have come in a Palace shirt, but I'm leaving a better player and person than when I arrived, and for that, I'll always be grateful.
